Traditional Painted Glaze
The kitchen and dining area in this home created a very elongated space. As a remedy, the new design incorporates a corner mounted oven and cooking area to help change the geometry of the room and create a focal point. A sideboard by the eating area helps to define two distinct spaces.
Traditional style cabinets for the main area feature a raised panel detail and they are finished in a bisque color with brown glaze highlights. The island is a stained cherry with black glaze highlights. The sideboard is stained cherry to match the island and has raised panel and miter door detailing.
The countertops are Santa Cecilia granite with gold tones, brown veining, and burgundy dots. All appliances are stainless steel and the floors are Brazilian cherry.
